It's always good to be able to put a face to a name, (although in the present instance, perhaps you may consider this an exception to the rule !), and to know who you are talking to at the other end of the phone line. Yes, I know, years of wrinkles and worry lines, attained though countless hours in the darkroom, amidst the sweet odours of acetic acid and other noxious chemicals - not to mention numberless tight deadlines. But, thank goodness, unlike the deadlines, the chemicals have largely vanished nowadays in the brave new world of digital technology. Been at this image capture business since the tender age of fifteen which means... well, just let's say more years than I care to admit.... so I have seen an unbelievable transformation in the "black art" over that time . Never wanted to do anything else and will probably continue until the shutter finger drops off, along with sundry other bits and bobs! "Dickie Bird".
